Following a career in luxury products which sharpened his sense of items of beauty (Ungaro, Bvlgari, Mugler) and an MBA, he decided to express his creativity in 3D through interior design. A diploma in “Interior Design” by the London Metropolitan University and several architectural projects at architecture studios in Rome and Geneva served as his launch pad allowing him to set up his own studio: <strong>INTERIOR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY.&nbsp;</strong></span></span> <br />  <div>  	&nbsp;</div>

Each year, this work brings together a selection of the leading designers and it is considered by the profession as being the international “bible” of interior architecture. He also won the <b>“Global Excellence Award” &nbsp;</b>for the best international project in the “residence” category granted by the <b>International Interior Design Association (IIDA). </b>This prize was presented in Paris in 2012 during the <b>Maison &amp; Objet</b> fair. His style proposes a poetic vision of the world where the different elements and material between modernity and memory speak with harmony and sensuality. <b>Jorge Cañete </b>speaks fluently in French, English, Italian and Spanish allowing to deal with an international clientele. Only 185 islands are home to its 300,000 inhabitants. The other islands are used entirely for economic purposes, of which tourism and agriculture are the most dominant. Tourism accounts for 28% of the GDP and more than 60% of the Maldives' foreign exchange receipts. Over 90% of government tax revenue comes from import duties and tourism-related taxes. The development of tourism fostered the overall growth of the country’s economy. It created direct and indirect employment and income generation opportunities in other related industries. Luxury marketing is very different from mass marketing taught in most universities. What motivates the UHNW is almost the antithesis of that of the mass market consumer. Luxury brands will never be higher than where they launch. The class market is not forgiving. You cannot launch mid-level and try climbing upwards. Where a luxury brand debuts will be the highest it achieves and brands fight to maintain and not fall from there. It costs much more money to launch in the luxury sector than it does in the mass market. In luxury it is more important to have a good CMO than a CFO.
